The Walt Disney Company released a letter to its shareholders, which says that the premiere of the movie “Star Wars Rebels” will be held this summer on the Disney Channel. The channel also will show a series of short films “Star Wars Rebels”, designed likely to acquaint the watchers with the heroes of the series. The series itself will be released on the channel Disney XD, as expected, in the fall of 2014.

Recall that the action in the series “Star Wars: The Rebels” takes place between ‘Episode III’ and ‘Episode IV’.
